I have this book in a giveaway Goodreads and ended up on the stack of books to read, I mean. He sat for a few months before coming to her the other day and realized I had not yet read. Now I have and I must say that this is one hell of a book ist.Auf the first page it says is the book “An ideal starting point for those with the spiritual path, a reference text for those seeking practical experience.” I fall somewhere between the two. I am not new to the spiritual path, but I do not call myself exactly as I experienced the gift, I do not know, to be entered when i book would apply to me. Fortunately I feel like I gained much from the book, my fears were unbegründet.Das book has 10 chapters. The first three (“openness”, “Who or what is God?” And “Who are you?”) Serves as an introduction to the spiritual path. It ‘s a great way to start the book and the issues that are simply too complex, or could have Obsure, in a clear and full of inspiring quotes Conscise präsentiert.Die next six chapters look at some of the most important spiritual principles ( “Cause and effect” “awareness, moment”, “Unit”, “full”, “not complex” and “forgiveness”). Each chapter breaks down the principle, fundamental components and then talk, because everyone is important for your spiritual journey. This is where the book really unique as not only includes citations relevant books and songs will, But also gives advice on where further information on finden.Das Any last chapter (“The path of spiritual growth” functions) as a summary and overview spiritual journey and the book itself. Appendix divides the books mentioned above in two groups – a group of ten must-read “and a group of recommended books. I have not seen this happen before, but I think it is a great idea as it gives the reader a starting at the beginning, and the possibility of additional future Zeitpunkt.Durch the book details are sparse as the author discussed the Principles has been applied to his life, and the results. This is be me the best part of the book, by because it takes an idea or technology and spiritual terrain, may show how the real world to a real person arbeiten.Ich understand that spirituality is a very personal thing, so this book is not for everyone, no matter how well it worked for me. Even the author himself referred to this once in the book and take his “what’s right for you and make your own ‘attitude is very refreshing. To me, this book was a revelation, and prospects indicate different techniques, and pointed me in the direction of more information. I know I will do my post with a quote from the book concludes: “So, my friend, what you have to lose, but Some have negative energy, which can only hurt you as you are moving in your life?” Rating: 5.5

Spirituality Simplified is definitely a great book for someone beginning their spiritual quest. It ‘s also a good book for those who were in a spiritual quest for a while. The author, Jeff Maziarek, equity issues that arise on a spiritual journey, in a format easy to read. Also contains a list of recommended books, a bibliography and discography that would be of interest to all spiritual seekers. My husband is reading the next line when I finished. Definitely a good read! Rating: 5.5

This book is essentially a “simplified summary of what the author, Jeff has learned Maziarek and ends with its own journey of spiritual growth, supported both by reading many books and thinking about his own approach Maziarek Erfahrung.Ich found a good open to striking a balance between naive and I found his (work) appears to be generally appropriate, although Some people find Certainly Some of his conclusions a bit ‘bit’ out there (but who can say authoritatively what ultimately true or untrue, in that are not provable or so?). The book is well organized and easy to read, and Maziarek has to draw a good work together ideas from different sources, although some of the ideas will not be easy to absorb if you is not met them before (but worth the absorption). A further advantage is that the summaries at the end of each chapter beautifully capture all the essential points of the chapter, provide a very convenient way to QUICKLY review the content of the book, Should Any book summaries are, as to the group as for the book, I think the book properly the subtitle: “It ‘s an ideal starting point for those whose spiritual path” and “a useful reference for the applicants’ expert, “although I think the first group is probably more from the book. I see myself more as a member of the second group, and I enjoy the book, But I must admit that many of the ideas Were so familiar to me, that I I found sometimes go a little boring, and so anxious. As a final note, I just wanted to note that such books are not written to convince skeptical hard to adopt a spiritual perspective. In other words, not books of philosophy pounds. Rather, they are by persons who are inclined (or at least ready willing) to accept that reality is mysterious, and perhaps “wild” as we normally think (or image) can, we need to explore with potential views of the world an open mind, often guided by information not in the logical-empirical evidence and arguments of the type normally expected in philosophy. To a large extent it is (a) adoption experimental beliefs that concern them and see what happens then judge the reasonableness of faith, but as (b) be prepared to act only after the convictions, the first “proof” of their validity. While the latter approach is similar to philosophy (especially of Western philosophy, with the exception of pragmatism), the first approach is actually related to science and therefore the approach to spirituality Maziarek and countless others of which has much in common with science, one major difference is that science allows intersubjective consensus while spirituality is much room for subjectivity and plurality therefrom. Jeff created to do what all of us when we open our hearts and minds to spirituality. The word “open” is the key. Through detailed his spiritual journey to realization, we can see our journey – as they have one. This is not necessarily in detail, but the expansion of consciousness. Jeff is to provide guidance to start on the road, but also enlighten those of us already feel centered in our spirit. Around this framework, which offers songs of other authors who have inspired us. This is not only a primer – but a well-thumbed staple my shelf. Rating: 5.5
